SUGARCANE Hits Theaters! (Updated)
Here's where you can watch our documentary on the big screen
Weyt-kp (Hello everyone)!
Today is the day! Sugarcane, my documentary co-directed with Emily Kassie, opens in theaters with a sneak peak screening and Q&A at 7pm at Film Forum in New York. Em and I will be back at Film Forum on Friday night for a 7:45pm showing before taking off to Toronto, where we will be doing Q&As after our screenings at the TIFF Lightbox on Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 2pm.
The film will be playing in select theaters across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom over the coming months. For a complete up-to-date schedule, please scroll to the bottom of this newsletter or check the film’s National Geographic webpage as additional screenings may be added. You can also follow along at our @sugarcanefilm Instagram account, which Em is doing a wonderful job curating.
If you can, please buy tickets to a screening when the film comes to a theater near you. Every ticket purchased matters because it tells the bosses at Walt Disney and the industry prognosticators in Hollywood that documentaries like this one matter and have an audience.

About Sugarcane
